Marine Liabilities
Marine Liability is insurance for liability or property damages to a
third party, while engaged in marine related operations. Selvick Marine

obligations a charterer has to the vessel owner and others.
- Marina Operator’s Legal Liability – Insures the
liability obligations a marina operator has to owners of watercraft
while in the marina’s care, custody and control.
- Ship Repairer’s Legal Liability – Insures the liability
obligations a shiprepairer has for damage to vessels while in
the care, custody and control of the shiprepairer.
- Stevedore’s Legal Liability – Insures the liability
obligations a stevedore has for damage to vessels and their cargo
while in the care, custody and control of the stevedore for the
purpose of loading and discharging a vessel.
- Wharfinger’s Legal Liability – Insures the liability
obligations a wharfinger has for damage to vessels and their cargo
while in the care, custody, or control of the wharf facility.

Marine General Liability insurance extends a monoline marine liability
insurance policy to include the general liability hazards of:
- Premises/completed operations
- Products liability
